KR> Wood Spars

Can anyone tell me the life span of wooden spars before they should be replaced. My project was started in the early 80 (20 years ago) from the fuselage to all spars which were checked by an A& P and signed off in the log book, but the KR-2 wasn't completed, it's always been kept in a building
