I have passed on the project. The ends of all the spars are cracked. Must
have been in a dry climate. Somewhat common problem under the plywood which
does not allow the wood to shrink freely.

Hello, I am Buzz Glade and new to the group. I am looking at a 2S project and
noticed the spar caps on both wings and the stub spar have checking cracks.
That is, cracks normally due to drying. The cracks are perpendicular to the
grain. Any thoughts, ideas or advice? I have not looked the l
