KR> Expected Lifespan of Construction Materials

Have any of the KR builders out there researched the expected lifespan for the epoxies and plastic materials used to construct a KR? I know I have experienced breakdown/deterioration/debonding of some of the various commercial plastic, foam, and/or glued items that I have had over the years. O
