I am considering building some aluminum fuel tanks and was wondering if
anyone has tried to build one using the aluminum welding rods that you get in a
tube at Harbor Freight Tools? They are used for gas welding. I know a guy that
uses these rods to repair boat propellers and it is v
hl at Diehl Aeronautical and he told me
that the tri-gear kit that he sells for the KR2 will work on a KR1 with no
problems. I am passing this information on so that it will hopefully help
others out there who are trying to make a decision on what type of gear to use
on their KR1.
