Be very careful using a ring terminal under the spark plug. In my experience in my volkspane it was very difficult to prevent them from leaking, which lets the cylinder suck in air and run lean, ie hot. In conversations with Steve Bennett, this was why he had moved the probe to a cylinder stud.

I agree with Donald, buy the spring loaded pushrod tubes that can be installed after you put the heads on. If you use the stock pushrod tubes it is to easy to have a head on a little crooked and damage the head, trust me I did it and had to buy a new head. I used the spring loaded pushrod tubes
