Here's a 5 year old post by Jeff Scott that should probably be on
Mailinglists.org was the host that I'm referring to. I don't remember the
fellow's name that ran it, be he started hosting lists for fire
departments, IIRC. I'm pretty sure the server was in his home.

One other problem with "free" platforms. When the host can't figure out
how to monetize the platform, it usually disappears. Remember Google
Reader? One reason KRnet is with the current host - the previous host was
a free service run out of a guys basement. He didn't even try charging
for it an
I'm sure Mark will be along shortly, but this has been tried before and

Go to a welding shop or a medical supply shop and BUY outright the biggest
Aluminum cylinder you can- a Super "D" or 50 cu. ft. Why? Because a fill
of the smallest compared to the biggest runs the $13.00 up to $18.0

It's called "theft" and a phone call to
I'm pretty sure this ranks as one of "Langford's Top Five" reasons to get

Before jumping into a discount hosting plan, you should search the
forums at www.webhostingtalk.com. Some people seem able to have a bad
experience with even the best host, but, if all you find in a search
are negative comments, then it might be best to look elsewhere.
