Will the RR premold cowling for the KR2S fit over a corvair conversion? Thanks.

Hey Guys:
I don't know if any of you have seen this, but I found an interesting little
site about a South African KR1 with a laminar flow wing completed in 1980.
Thought I'd let you all have a look if you'd like.

aper in the end (not that it
really matters), and that's the only difference I know of.
One more thing: What's the dirt on the VW rear drive system? Seems like a
nice deal, but I want to know if there is a catch that can be avoided with a
front drive system.
Thanks

amount of reasoning will convince me
otherwise).
I also plan to leave the wing one piece by not cutting it open in the first
place.
The archives seemed unhelpful for me on this issue.
Thoughts?

Everyone:
I've got another question. Has anyone ever tried purchasing material from
Fibre Glast? They have cloth at half the price of Wicks. Also, would using
one layer of UNI carbon fiber for the wing skin, applied lengthwise, give
sufficient strenght to ward off twisting?
Thanks
cking. Prices do seem similar after all. Sorry all.

"KR" cloth 7533 that weighs about three
ounces less than the ra5377. What are others using, and why?
Thanks

Don Reid has some information on his site...

He also seems to be the foremost authority based on the posts he's made in
the archives...until he writes, I hope this link helps.

seems logical that the new wing would work on the KR-1 with the original size
dimensions. Thoughts?
I'm no aeronautical engineer, and I know many of you are happy to share your
knowledge (and scathing remarks ;-), so I have donned my HazMat suit. Fla
lage), and is probably much
less. Hope this helps.
