FYI, Spotted the following in my perusal of Ebay listings today (see Ebay
Motors item # 190836024681).item advertised is a new 4340 billet steel
crankshaft that is stroked +0.25, shot peened, heat treated, & nitrided. ?Buy
it now price is $1,370.00.
The seller is autobonengines and has
iding. ?My question is if
there any opinions/analyses regarding:
1. Using the Meta Lax stress reduction process (low-frequency vibratory
process) on cranks;
2. ?Having cranks cryogenically treated.
I'd appreciate any feedback on these topics that members have to offer.
