I have broken down the outer wings of the KR1 ( they were not assembled
correctly as I could not align the tips square to the fuselage and the WAF's
were not positioned correctly) and am now re-assembling them and cannot find
the references to align the outer plywoo
Larry, The glider boys have found that if you matt your wing the drag is
appreciably less, hence before a contest you see all these fellows flatting
there wings with water paper.
No one has explained this to me satisfactorily, has anyone heard a
plausible explanation

I have rescued a KR1 from a hanger ( where it has stood since 1983, the owner /
builder purchased a 172 tinny and now has shares in a Mooney ) and need a set
of plans to finish the wings. The plans that came with the plane are KR2
photocopies and leave a large amount to the builders ing
