I see the outfit below is selling gear that will work fine for the KR, at least
mine (which has a 24" fuselage). Steve Bennett used to sell this gear for the
KR and Sonerai.
It comes in ½" thickness and 5/8" thickness (mine has the latter). The half
inch gear isn't stiff enough for KR's.
When I purchased my Grove Gear legs, They were a custom design with Gun
Drilling for about $900 at the time. They even drilled for my Axles.

Yep, that's right, and they appear to still be for sale, for $1879 plus
shipping from CA, at
https://www.groveaircraft.com/landing_gear.html#kr . A less
expensive alternative would be nice to have in the KR community.

I think those are Tracy O'Brien gear legs. I'm not sure he makes those

someone in Fla had American Yankee legs for sale a year or two ago. I
bought a set and never opened them up..
If you're interested, email me back. Also have a sheet of 4130 for the gear
structure if interested.

I have a set on an old KR I bought for parts. Set up for tri-gear. From
what I read, no good for tail dragger.
You can email me for more info if needed. Ken

As KR parts are getting more difficult to buy, one of the things I'd
like to see is the development of a new landing gear set. And like the
old "KR Newsletter" days, have a guy who is selling gear legs, another
guy who is selling castings or weldments for gear leg mounts and nose
wheel, for ex
I seem to remember that too, but not where I saw it...

Yes, I have them along with Diehl’s wing skins for the main wings. I quit
