I see the outfit below is selling gear that will work fine for the KR, at least mine (which has a 24" fuselage).  Steve Bennett used to sell this gear for the KR and Sonerai.  It comes in ½" thickness and 5/8" thickness (mine has the latter).  The half inch gear isn't stiff enough for KR's.
