Hi Steve! Looks like there's a lot of pent-up demand for Ellisons!  Especially the relatively rare EFS=2.  I hope things are going well.  Sparky passed away about a month and a half ago . . . you probably know.  Mike StirewaltKSEE -- KRnet mailing list KRnet@list.krnet.org https://list.krne

Craig, It’s pretty funny you still fail to acknowledge the fact that you screwed up on your rebuild of the airplane and it was your poor building habits that brought the airplane down not the Ellison as you remove a cooling plenum that in your infinite wisdom you thought you didn’t need. Ellis

First I've heard of a vapor lock problem.  Mine runs off a fuel pump so I don't really see how it could.  Maybe I'm not understanding something.  Thanks for the detailed response.  Steve Glover may yet get things together . . . one can always hope.  Mike -- KRnet mailing list KRnet@list.kr

As always "your results may vary" As most of you know the Ellison vapor lock issue is what brought me down in May of 2019. After the rebuild I swore off TBI's and actually tried the MA3SPA carb as recommended by WW and could not get the Corvair to run correctly. It was always too rich. It al

I have a GPAS 2180 with a rayjay equipped (turbo normalized) manifold set. Has anyone ever attempted using a trickle of high pressure cooled oil from the output of the pool cooler to trickle "cooling oil" across the hotter cylinder head components? Heads have hot parts, cooled oil is available, w

I would not buy an Ellison. Even if you could they are no longer well supported. I have the Rotec which is a Ellison copy with much needed improvements. Having flown behind both I will say they work fine but have their own advantages, quirks and limitations. Craig N886MJ (N51CW) > O
