just filled with foam blocks. It's not pretty but it holds up at over 200
mph and is easy to remove for inspection.

used duct tape or aluminum speed tape. Just depends on how nice you want it to
look or easy to remove.

I contacted Doug Pearce, the former owner of the KR100 and he said it
was sold to someone in Alabama, west side of Birmingham. If anyone in
that area could do a bit of detective work and see if it is still
located there. Maybe print a photo and check with local EAA members /

I've been down the road on Corvairs, and I still have to say that they
are wonderful engines. Six smooth cylinders, and if one quits, you can
still take off and fly the plane home (just ask Steve Makish). Try that
