I had the pleasure of flying with Jeff in the RV6 as a pre-curser to conducting
my first flight in my KR. Though I have flown an RV6 and an RV10 regularly, I
have never taxied one nor have I had anyone with KR experience sit beside me
and demonstrate what to expect. Jeff did both...

Arrived home 2 hours ago. Strong head winds most of the way but mostly
smooth over the Midwest and the plains and continuous turbulence over the
Rockies.
Great Gathering. Thanks to Bob and the EAA chapter for hosting. It is always
good to see and swap stories with everyone.

Thanks Larry for the update. We too enjoyed the gathering very much and
thanks to everyone for everything! Unfortunately, we are still on the road
suffering from traffic jam near Dallas...
Luis will be home in about one hour but I won't be home until after 9:00pm
tonight! Need to finish the KRs as
I enjoyed see old friends and making new ones at the Gathering. Thanks
to Rob and the crew for pulling it off.
My trip home was great except for the haze. 300 miles in 1:46 minutes
on less than 10 gallon of fuel thanks to a tailwind that westbounders
had to fight.
