Bernie Wunder made a set of brackets to mount the tail dragger gear legs to
the main spar on his KR-2S. These were welded 4130 steel. Bernie gave
those steel brackets to Mark Jones. My understanding is that Mark is using
the brackets on the Wunderbird that will soon be flying.

Anyone not able to attend the Gathering might want to attend the Midwest
LSA EXPO which is happening on the same dates this year just 300 miles
to the east at Mt.Vernon, Illinois, home of a dozen or so past
Gatherings. I'm disappointed about the conflict as I had hoped to attend.
