I have about 75hrs in an AA1b and I agree it's close enough to give you what
you need. The only thing missing is the PIO issue. Never heard of that being
a problem in the Yankee so I think the KR is more sensitive in that respect. I
worry about stuffing 2 std pilots in a KR. I mean 2021 std
That's interesting because I used to own an AA1B American 30 years ago(

After I check out ride I put 110 hours on it in a year. The plane felt very
natural to me, a big improvement in handling over the spam cans I had been
flying
