I thought I would jump in on this discussion. I had no tail wheel time when
I bought my first KR. I learned and taught myself in the KR. I just
approached it with caution. I wouldn't say I had no exciting moments, but it
did go well enough. I later got my official tail wheel endorsement in a 194
