The Bellanca club had used Watertown (KRYV) in the past. Stinsons, Tailwinds,
and Ercoupes usually meet the as well. The FBO is accommodating and usually
hosts a BBQ Friday night. The airport is convenient for the Ripon arrival.

As this is a "pilots only" issue I'd suggest it be an agenda item for a
campfire meeting. One hand to hold

Another smaller option would be Burlington Municipal (KBUU) which is a
smaller non-towered airport with a nice paved runway and easy access to
town. Again, contact with airport management would be needed - I don't know
if they allow camping or have enough facilities for a large group, although

I nominate Freeport IL (KFEP). Less than an hour from KOSH. Be much less hustle
and bustle to deal with. This is Deer Slayers new home. It has nice big runways

I have a KR2 for sale (no engine or gauges). Make offer. I have a 1835 with
Ellison and EIS 2,000 that I would sell with it or just the airplane. The
place where I have it stored has sold. Here's the link:

I looked into this and a motor glider must have certain specs to qualify.
IIRC, wing span to gross weight. However, the sonex page states that
tyhis may not apply to experimental category, and certainly a 27ft
wingspan on a KR1 would fly more like a glider. Especially if equipped

Does anyone have any clip art of the KR. If so please send it to me if you

Fon Du Lac airport just 15 or a little more miles straight south of Oshkosh
would be a good place to gather for an Oshkosh arrival. It is also just south

I asked Jeannette several years ago about the KR-1B, and she said to her
knowledge only one had ever been completed and flown, and that was the
prototype. She paid somebody to fly off the 40 hours, and last time I
saw it, it was apart and hanging on the wall of Rand Robinson before it
closed up.

I guess I'm borderline anti-social, but I'd rather stop at a small
airport that's not so popular. I think the idea is a great onewe

There are no regs that spells out requirements for an amateur built motor
glider. Just check that box when you register the aircraft. Y
