I got mine from www.VinylStriping.com in 2.5" width (3" cut down custom) and
that covers my WAF junction cutouts just fine.
Yes it is a Scotch product. $33.50 for 150 feet! If you want some dark blue,
lemme know...

I cut some thin aluminum strips that were wide enough to cover the wing gap.
Then vinyl taped over the gap with enough overlap.
/But I think somebody said it bubbles up over the Wing /attached bolts
locationsfrom the low pressure on top of the /wing.

It’s simple. Just use the tried and tested Mark Langford’s plastic idea. lay up
your glass on plastic then apply to gap seal. Then use peal ply. Church is web
page. PS. Please delete most of previous email before sending. They are miles

Google "Sail Plane Gap Tape" to see what the sail plane guys use. That should work nicely. I've also heard of people using Gaffers tape, which comes in a host of colors and is less expensive ~$20 pee 3"wide 60 yd roll That should be enough to hold you for a few years.

Anybody use specialty tape to cover wing attach gap?
I've heard people using aluminum duct tape for heater ducts. As I recall it was
called speed tape or 100 mile tape in the Air Force. But I think somebody said

I think I've been using the tape you describe ever since I bought my KR
in 2006. It's made by Scotch I'm pretty sure. I use the same tape,
although I think it's four inch instead of five or six like I use for the
wing gap, to cover the cowling joints.
You've got the right idea but your source
Anybody use specialty tape to cover wing attach gap?
If so, what kind, source - price? Polyurethane 6" x 36 yard roll = $650 !??!
Trying to avoid doin an upside down on my back glass layup on floor on
my back. Not too crazy about trying the "green glass" method.
