"S" refers to "Structural", "E" refers to "Electrical" - E-glass is designed for use in printed circuit boards. It contains boron compounds which make it (for the most part) self-extinguishing when removed from a flame source. S-glass exhibits +/- 40% less thermal expansion than E-glass. S-glas
