I think it's a great idea if your engine will make enough heat in the winter.  The Velocity series of aircraft use a second oil cooler that is plumbed to the front of the aircraft to use as a heater.  That is partially because it would be difficult to duct warm air up to your feet in the front of

Happy New Year Guys and Gals from the frzen South. It's 15 degrees here in Birmingham so no flying today. I actually got the wife to fly with me Saturday in the KR. We were going to do a cross country but the weather shut me down. We just flew around the airport instead and made a perfect landin
