This is one of the original KR2 retractable gear brackets , that most KR2
builders no longer use ( if using the Diehl fixed gear)

FYI for those who are interested and helped out Colin Hales on his KR2 around
the world quest.
Looks like his medical bills in Japan should be covered by this fund.
Haven't heard anything further on his health status?

That's what I read when I looked into it. I think a smooth board would
do a better job of pushing air downward thus providing lift.
I still have the mount for sale. A gentleman had inquired about it but never
called back. Has never actually flown so practically brand new.
