Typically crosswind limits are up to the individual pilot.  Every Pilots ability is different. For an example alot of my flying was up in North Dakota and if you weren't able to handle 15+ kts crosswinds in a 172 you wouldn't be able to fly much.  It's also the type of airplane you have. Nose ge
