size RAF 48 templates to take to a printer. I can find the AS5046 on Mark's
page but not the RAF 48 . Does anybody know where I can find those?
Thanks

Stef,
180 kts should be sufficient. Your VNE is 170Kts. While I have been well past
VNE a couple of times, it's not a good idea, and was never intentional. My ASI
tops out at 175 kts, and other than a couple of unintentional overspeeds, has
always been sufficient. If you need a 200 kt AS
I had a 1974 Chevrolet Vega with a 4 cylinder engine . It came with a 150 mph
speedometer from the factory. And yes I know this isnt KR related. Just funny.

Hi kr friends,
I want to order the Uma airspeed indicator. Wat is the max scale I need to buy.
180 kts or 200 kts.
I think the 200 kts will be overkill wat do you think?
Thanks

Slick magnetos radiate a lot of RF noise on the P-leads. I had some noise
issues on my SuperCub Clone after completing it. I had shielded all of the
P-lead except the last few inches where the p-lead wires hooked up to the
magnetos. Adding some braided wire around the P-leads at that point
In some cases it might. The noise I have totally disappears by turning the
mag off.I moved the com coax aft of the instrument panel because it was
tied into the bundle with the p-lead from the mag.Thought that would
help.No joy.Next I will substitute the antenna with a rubber ducky right
off the rad
