I'm 6' 4" tall and have made several long trip in my KR-2 and never got
claustrophobia. I extended the fuselage 2" forward of the main spar and I
believe it was 9" aft of the rear spar. There were no handling issues at
all.

For those of you with your engines apart, this was Sunrise from 9500' over
Phoenix at 7:00 this morning. It was one of those rare days where I had a 35 -
40 kt tailwind with a smooth ride all the way home.
