Sid,, The reason that I gave a measurment from the rear face of the main
spar is because not everyone's or even maybe no one's leading edge is in the
same place. There are several different airfoils around and different hands
building them. But the gear axle relative to the main spar would a
OK, then there is just about 3" difference. I measured mine and it is 20"
aft of the leading edge which would make everyone the same after Sid
changes his.

My purpose in moving the main wheels 3 inches aft to 20 inches from the
leading edge of the stub wing is to improve ground handling. The plan is to
not dump on the tail when boarding or dismounting. Plus I can keep the nose
wheel on the pavement on the bumpy taxiways at 2W6.

Is anyone interested in buying me out? I have two projects, both in the boat
stage, one single seat the other two seat, both have tail sections done,
controls done on one and 50% done on single, spars done for both, outer wings
for the single are 50% done, vw engine mount on the two seat, both

of the stub wing should 10.75" forward of the forward edge of the main spar
they are essentially in the same position for a tri -gear. It seems to me
