Bonding aluminium is a black art.
Gary Morgan has already pretty well built an aluminium KR. He now sells
them here in Au.

Shipping has got to be very expensive on canopies because they had so many
damaged. I think there all buying an insurance on them when they ship them now.
I paid 600 for a canopy and it cost me 230 to have a chip.

Thanks Larry. That's what I've been doing and I'm sure you're right. But
the familiar (wood and aluminum) is still a temptation.

Anyone out there have experience with Proset. I have been using West System for
my plane projects successfully- from Gougeon Bros. for years. My son (building
a Cassutt) has suggested that I might get with the times!! Never heard of
Proset.
