Fessing up about my experience modifying my new cowling.
Glad it wasn't structural! The insulation board I used to try
to modify it dissolved with the fiberglass resin! So for all you purists
out there ... I will be adding aluminum strip rivited to the
no PSRU direct drive.

This aircraft really is a bit of a mystery. It turned up in New Zealand at
a NZ Sport Aircraft Association Fly-In at Tauranga airfield in 2008 (see
link below) but has since seemingly disappeared off the face of the planet.

I talked to Roy at one of the KR a Gatherings back in the 90's. Nice guy.
His wingspan was shorter as well . He reduced the stub wings a couple of feet
to 19 feet 8 inches overall .
