Sorry about the windshield...but it is done, safety glass cannot be buffed,
polished or anything. A single edge razor, (with care) is very good for
removing stuck or caked on debris from both the windshield and the hub. Care
must be exercised not to scratch anything. Using ANY product that requires

I use solid long rivets that go all the way though to the other end then
squeeze them.

I used standard 1/8" steel rivets. Just did an annual and after 7 years of
flying and 425 flight hours they show no signs of wear or loosening. You
could use solid steel rivets as Ra
