That's a good point. We'll have to bring empty fuel cans. The good news is
that we can check fuel flow rate in the process!

I spoke with the late Ken Rand when I bought my plans. I informed him that
my partner and I were going to build 2 or more planes. It didn't phase him a
bit and as regards the serial numbers, he suggested that I add any suffix or
prefix that I desired to the existing number on the plans book. I h

is probably correct for a KR. ?My -S is #586, which was the number on the -2S
supplemental plans. ?In the US, you can pretty much call it what ever number
you want if you scratch build the plane (that is all the KRs),
Rob; Most homebuilts have a serial number of "1" as each builder is the
manufacturer, and each chooses how to enumerate his production.
I don't think J. Rand gave up any records, most are in file cabinets in her
garage. They are heavy, and full.

Brad and all,
I have access to "Real" electronic scales for aircraft that will handle the
weight. Mark, you bring the one for the nose and tail, and I will bring the
other two. I went in with a bunch of RV guys here at my airport.
