I have re-watched the video repeatedly, and am now a bit more critical of the
pilots approach. He probably could have floated to the displaced threashold in
the flare with a couple seconds of throttle, but you want to try to be above
the cars don't you.

Went to Corvair College 24 in Barnwell today. The Black Bird, a 601, and
two Piets were the only planes there. However, I think I did hear another
one coming in, on the radio, after I left. I will go back in the morning.
Roy and Dan were there, and William came right out to greet me and give me
Joe said too low too soon.
I thought I would throw my hat in the ring too.
I have flown at http://www.airnav.com/airport/52F Northwest Regional Airport
airport a few times. The pilot only appears to be low, but this is common,
because there is a pretty good hill leading down to the runway. Even t
Jack has shown some improvement. He is now at Bristol Select Specialty
Hospital to try to wean him off the ventilator and hoping that he can begin
making some progress in that direction. He is still not out of the woods.
