I didn't see that there was any discouragement in any post. Perhaps you lack
the vocabulary to properly ask the question because a couple of us have
answered it already as asked. Aileron cable travel as you ask is purely a
function of the pivot radius and the angle of swing-a la the distance the
Hi Phil,
Only just started my KR build, I can understand your reasoning for your
reply.
I think what you maybe asking for is a standard question in a standard
configuration. Like most KR builders a lot of these designs have been
changed to suit their own likes, as you are with your longer stic

Ditto to comment already made. Adding a 2nd stick does not change aileron
travel unless you change the pivot geometry. Stay with the same measurement,
Pivot pin to aileron cable attach point, which is about 2.75"-3" on the KR.

Or... You could calculate it if you had measurements from a drawing
Or... You could draw the system to scale and measure the travel directly.
Or... You said that you were removing a center stick. Assuming it
worked, you could just use it to measure, and/or keep the same pivot
geometry. This, I
Ok, so let me get this straight, I need to build a stock one first, take
the measurements then scrap it and build the new one? If you saw what I had
you'd understand why I'm asking for cable travel. I just hate doing things
twice (or more) when it's not necessary. But I guess I'll have to.
