I recently replaced a direct drive starter on a 1982 revmaster motor with a
Subaru starter (or at least one that looks identical) by making an adapter
plate for it.
Seeing that the newer Revmaster motors come out with this starter now I just
bolted it up and turned the key. Imagine my surprise
The Bosch 0-001-160-0xx series is almost impossible to find online, and
apparently the older diehl cases - probably like mine - don't fit the gpasc
Subaru starter
Does anyone have one of the old style direct drive starters laying around?
If no, does anyone know of a newer part number that fits
