Any KR-2S owners out there with a Jabiru 3300 on the nose? I'd really like to
know how the KR performs with that engine. What about a constant speed prop to
go with it? I understand the weight penalty.

I have been thinking that if it were my plane, I would set it up and do another
meaurement of the Wing and Horiz Stab Incidence and (ESPECIALLY the Horiz
stab). Then I would have my EAA technical counselor look at it too.Too scarey
stuff not to go the extra mile.

Absolutely. Ailerons must be balanced and if you have a very fast KR, so
should the other control surfaces. In any case, it never hurts to balance
them all.

Speaking of counter-balance, if the KR is approaching 150-200 mph, and if
control surfaces are not balanced, can't this develop flutter problems?

A helpful kr-netter from downunder has offered to send a set.
I have talked several times to the recipient about all of the various
mods and offered to send him a copy of the scanned newsletters. He
really doesn't need all that stuff. He has a complete aircraft, just not
airworth
There were errors in the 1975 plans set that had to be addressed in the in the
KR newsletters (specifically the wing templates were not drawn correctly and
are not to be used as drawn). In my opinion, your friend would be better off
with a set of new plans from NVaero, which would have the ma
