I have started removing the VW from the Black Bird, and installing senders

Having built several KR's I have discovered that, with the original plans
and published weights, the plane will fly BUT will "need fixing" routinely.
It is precisely this fixing and improvement that adds weight. Enjoy flying!

The only separate parts that I have weighed are the wings. The stock KR2
wings without paint and without fuel tanks, weighed around 40 #. You
probably have integral glass tanks, so that would be hard to weigh. My
aluminum fuel tanks weighed 22 # each. They are a bit "over built".
