In the '70s I ordered a remote distributor timing adjuster from JC Whitney. I use it on my Great Plains 2380cc volks in my KR2 to advance and retard the 009 distributor which drives my Compufire ignition system. Consists of a verneer mechanism :a thumb wheel moves the bowdan tube inner wire in
