Can 1/4" 5ply A-B Grade Fir Marine plywood be used for the firewall?

I see no problems, I would, and have used that type of timber.
The engine is supported on the cross timber in the fuse not just the fire
wall ply.

I have spent the day scanning through and searching the archives, but have not
found the answer.
Can 1/4" 5ply A-B Grade Fir Marine plywood be used for the firewall?
I have recently purchased plans and spruce sticks to build a KR1 and hope to
find a local supplier, Dallas/Fort Wo
Lets try this again. William was from Washington State, He crash landed a KR2
on an Island, N395JT. I would like to get those photos. This all happened in
early 2007.
