Only use 30W or 10w30 in a vw.
The VW oil control springs rely on 30W oil to open the passage to the
oil cooler when the oil is at the correct temp.
By using 20w50 the viscosity is thicker which causes the oil control
spring not letting oil thru the cooler until a hig

Thanks, I'm looking into that. I believe that the nuts are heat treated
(hardened) and many nut splitters are not suitable for those types. Your
suggestion about cutting them with a dremel tool may have some value.

11am to 2pm Daily. I don't know about supper time though. I am
here in Mt. Vernon already and can take you to Ryan's Restaurant. You
can eat enough food there to last you all weekend.
