Mark, Sorry to say, it is probably the begining of the end for you poor 315A. I had the exact same model and did all the downloads you had recommended on the web for the aviation database. One day it started to do strange things. The whole sattelite screen went blank one day while flying

Hi Mark, I have a Map 330 (similar to the 315) and a while ago I downloaded a software update for it from Magellan. Don't know if it is still available but maybe worth a try. Do you have the 12v adaptor for the Magellan (little screw in pad on the back) that may get around your batteries. Paul

Mark - here's a suggestion from my Hangar partner: Yes (has a Magellan), but newer than that one, sounds like he should download all his way points then reset to default settings. Memory may be full too or his tracks to big. Mark wrote: I have a Magellan 315A . On the last few flights the Ma

I have a conventional gear KR2, and it is easier to fly, than any plane I have ever flown, other than maybe an RV, and that was only easier because it has flaps, which you can build on your KR2S. Build it right, and there are no issues of concern with a KR. See N64KR at http://KRBuilder.org - The
