While repairing the KR2 we made a mold for a lower cowl air intake scoop.
We have pulled our first part off of the mold and they come out strong and

I don't know about the rest of you guys, but the weather here has been
cold and windy. But I have managed to get some flying in despite all of
it. I just completed by first five hours today! So far all has been
great, with no problems to speak of. I am hoping for some better

You could always try setting up a BLOG on World Press (worldpress.com and

don't like, but you could always send your BLOG contact info to the net and
folks could check your stuff and comment as they like. Just a thought.

After blowing up an engine at night 20 years ago, I was a real Nervous Nelly in
that particular plane at night from there on, but made myself do it anyway,
sweaty palms and all. It didn't seem to bother me in any other plane. I have

I think a good scare is in order every once in a while. I have never flown

Lee,
I live in the Seattle area and would be interested in both seeing

Gary,
I learned how to fly off of a winch tow. I haven't ever seen one set

there are any clubs using winches around there?

Food for thought: While it's been many years since I flew a single
engine helicopter, as I recall it took about 12 - 15 seconds to get on
the ground from 500-700 feet AGL. Of course if you fail to respond
correctly and manage your rotor speed you will fall faster. Also, when
your engine quits,
