Hi all:
I'm having some problems of the kind I'm on the nearbies of knowing why but
on the outside boundaries of knowing why I should bet on my own certainness.
When we installed Koha previously (3.00.00.005), we made some forced
assumptions that resulted in a bad installation than now shows as

I suppose is more for avoiding comparative marketing between possible direct
competitors than to "prevent third parties to improve their user
experience".

Hi all:
Just a doubt: where is supposed to point PERL5LIB, perl libraries directory,
that is:
/usr/(local/)?share/perl/5.8.8
Or
/usr/(local/)?share/perl/5.8.8/koha
Or
Koha directory (in this case where is located?)
My question comes because I'm not sure if there is any difference between

I continue in my persistence on paths to reach "the unobtrusive panelled

Just a maybe "not to take a blind bit of notice" issue, there is an
inversion letters typo in: http://www.kohadocs.org/koha_diary.html, chapter
9, in the title.

Are authorities bound to bibliographic record insertions or are both
completely independent?
(I'm trying an authority search but results empty, and auth_header table
seems empty too, so one might think be all done via manual insertion using
authorities.pl)

USMARC has not mapping for extended latin 1 chars?
What perl module::method should I use for decoding MARC?
Thanks in advance!

Hi all:
I just was wandering if Koha 3 has done any integration with RFID and/or
optical barcode readers, is already started, planned or is just a "wrap,
wrap... doit yourself"?.
There seems to be a world down under lib/C4/SIP but is "baby safe"?
Thanks,
Ignacio Ja
RFID related, I understand barcode is trivial):
a) Is this whole streamline of message mapped to keyboard (key strokes)?
b) What something knows when to start the process of and how to express the
fact that a book appeared in the RFID range in a or a succession of koha
form field/s?

a) Does not koha make this process directly when the insert/update/delete of
a MARC record? , or is always needed to do similar zebraidx -et ceteras...
to syncronize it in a cron fashion?
