Unless a common webhost can demonstrate that they already have success
installing and serving Koha, I would not believe them when they say they can do

Mr. Yan Han,
I am trying to help out my kids K-8 school by setting up Koha on a Shared
Host (namely 1&1). Thus far I have been unsuccessful. Can you please tell
me if you ever had any success with your trials?
Thank you,

Hello Yan,
Any luck so far? I, too, am planning to move my Koha to the commercial
hosting service where our web site is already located and I am interested
in what to expect with such a move.

Hello, All,
I have been running Koha on a local server, but am testing to virtual
host Koha on a commercial server (for example. Bluehost.com). In local
server implementation, you need to "make install" to install Koha.
In a commercial server, "make install" is not allowed. So does anyone
