parse the contents of each row within a user program, then cull based on the
expiry contained within the session data itself.

Developers,
After performing a software upgrade and server reboot, I came across this
problem. My koha.sessions table is over 13 million entries. This seems to
indicate that entries into the table were never removed, and that may help to
explain why my backup mysqldumps are increasing by aro
I'll step up the plate and be added to the default CC list for the following

MARC Authority data support
MARC Bibliographic data support
MARC Bibliographic record staging/import
They all seem pretty related, and I've had to spend a lot of time face-down in

Dev Community,
I've added my script which I believe solves Ed's problem to contribs.koha.org.

Hopefully this will prove helpful. I can work on adding an overwrite feature
in the next version (currently unwanted attributes must be removed man
Ed,
I think I've got a script that'll do what you need. Do you have command-line
access to your installation?

Chad,
Neat! Always glad to have people volunteer to help make Koha better.
When you say "improve" and "enhance" the search, what are your specific goals?
Faster retrieval time? More complex search options (nested Booleans, more
search fields, regex-style wildcards, etc.)? More relevant rel
hable/linkable by anyone.
So, we just need a sweet open source Wave server and client... right then.

I'm reluctant to agree developers should "split off" from users into a
different channel; it reinforces that perceived divide between users and
developers that has been used to cast aspersions on the community in the past.

Developers,
Has there been any recent progress (since March) on a Koha debian package, as
detailed here: http://wiki.koha.org/doku.php?id=debian_packaging_work. I know
that one of the blockers, MARC::File::XML 0.88, has changed (now that we’re at
v.0.91), so does that make the job easier?

Kyle,
Sounds good to me.
This suggestion seems like it could have some powerful long-term potential. By
modifying the system in the way you suggest, it would be possible to expand the
kinds of payments patrons can make to include arbitrary services (like

Developers,
Currently, my catalogers use OCLC Connexion to search for and update
bibliographic records. Upon completion of a record, they simply press F5, and
the record is imported into our existing ILS. The window that pops up gives
them the current status of the export, and a report back
Absolutely, yes.
Git is powerful (and thus complicated) enough to work for many different
project workflows. Reading the Git docs doesn't necessary tell you how the
workflow for Koha goes. Seeing this in action, with an expert to fill in some
of the blanks, would be tremendously valuable to n

A recent post in the Koha discussion list about MODS support reminded me
