Savitra,
This is fantastic!!!
We have a charter high school with at-risk teenagers - they've been in
environments that have been far less that optimal and our librarian has their
success in mind. Having them read within (or slightly above) their lexile
range is a way to help ensure these stud

It's nice to see things taking shape for the realization of KUDOS. The work

Thanks for your answer, Nicole.
I have another doubt regarding Koha 3.
I've seen that in Koha 3 (and maybe in earlier versions too) the table
"marc_subfield_table" is gone.
Does it mean that it is not possible, anymore, to select a biblio by its
marc subvalues only using SQL?

There is now a Debian and Ubuntu compatible .deb file for
KohaOfflineCirculation available. I've only tested in on Ubuntu 9.10,
but it should work on Debian as well.

I do know Baker and Taylors Content Cafe has Lexile as an option in the content
they sell which might be an interesting option for libraries wanting to access
Lexile that isn't in their MARC record.

Nice to have the option.
If the vendors of your MARC records are not sending them make sure you ask
for it so you don't have to manually edit each record in the future.
There are companies that will lexile your database for a fee...
As a librarian I don't like lexiles to a point. They have the

Hi,
I had problems with rewrite-config.PL with a commercial hosting
company where the hostname() gave a wrong answer. I suggest to
replace to call to hostname() in rewrite-config.PL with calls to
system utilities that a user could use to verify the state of the
system. From the code
I'm going to try rolling a .deb for release. You can always check out
the source from git. To build it you need the qt4-dev libraries
installed, then just run 'make'.

Nicole, on including this in advanced search, sure we will submit a patch.
Thanks,
