Hi Nicole,
check your permissions – there is a setting where you can change what happens
after you save a change.
Hope that helps,

Right now when you comment on a bug in Bugzilla it saves your change and
shows the next bug in the search on the screen. Often I need to make a
couple edits and this makes me change the wrong bug report (an error I've
seen others make as well). We have bugzilla set up at work to redirect you

Hello,
As I've suggested in previous mails, I made some changes in bugzilla:
* new severity "new feature". This is/will be for real new features.
The "enhancement" being for an existing feature. That will be useful for
generating Release Notes of 3.12 (I'll take care later of updating the
script)

Hi Marcel and Chris,
I think what you are discussing here is basically the definition of 'Passed
QA'. I think setting this status means, that I am sure that a patch works and
does not cause any regressions.
I would like QA team members only to set this status, if they are sure. Else

I agree that it's something we shoul
For me it feels more work. If I add a signoff, I must have tested the patch
more extensively. But if I do not need to add signoff and I can rely on a solid
signoff already, the QA process will be faster. Note that I do not oppose this
step, I am just warning that it takes more time. I do not fav

Of course it is, but you can hardly QA something if you haven't even
applied it. My point is, applying a patch then doing your QA then
signing that patch off ... the only change is adding the sign of

Jared,
Could have missed something, but was this decided recently?
The additional signoff will mean more workload for the QA team, since it
requires additional testing. Which is fine of course in theory, but may lead to
a larger queue of patches waiting for QA, etc.
