Dear Koha Community,
Our Koha installation is now online! We are a small Ukrainian greek-catholic
parish library located in Vienna, Austria. We started using Koha about a year
ago and, finally, managed to get a public server and migrated our installation
to this server.
At the same time we in

Hi,
I recently wrote on this list that I’m about to develop a script that posts
recently catalogued books to a Facebook page. Well, I found some time faster
then I thought, so here’s my simple script. I’ll run it using koha-foreach in a
cronjob.
It does nothing fancy it just posts a list of re
There’s a small error. I forgot to remove two lines from a previous version:
my $tmpdir = File::Temp->newdir();
my $dirname = $tmpdir->dirname;

Hi,
two remarks:
* concerning translate.pl vs. ./translate.pl: this a general Unix/Linux issue.
The correct answer is: if you want to execute a program in a shell, the shell
has to know where the program is. The shell can be told where to look for the
program by either calling it with its path
Hi,
I am new to Koha. I basically just set-up a fresh Koha 3.14 installation on
Ubuntu 13.10 using the Debian packages from http://debian.koha-community.org/

Hi Zeno,
I’ve been cleaning up my mailbox and came across your mail. Are you still
looking for test data? We’re a small library that has just started using Koha
(and just started cataloging). I can provide you a (small) data set that is
almost 100% cyrillic.

Hi,
I just upgraded from Koha 3.14 to 3.16. I noticed a difference in the „Refine
your search bar“, which kind of irritates me. Koha 3.14 used to list only the
contents of the field 100 under „Authors“. Koha 3.16 apparently also lists the
contents of 400 fields. In my case, this behavior is not
Hi,
Yesterday I wrote an e-mail concerning an unexpected behavior (at least for me)
of the „Refine your search“ bar (facets) in Koha 3.16. Since, I didn’t get an
answer and my question gave me a sleep-less night, I tried to understand what’s
going on by myself. :-)
Although, I think that I kin
Hi,
it’s basically the first time that I had a closer look at Koha’s source code
and my knowledge of Perl is limited. So, I must admit that I don’t quite
understand how things work.

Hello,
we are a (very) small library. We are using Koha since a couple of months. So
far our installation is „offline“ (on an old Mac Mini that is not accessible
from the internet). Now we want to go online. Due to our limited budget the
only option will be renting a virtual server. However, I

Hi,
I was wondering if there are any Austrian Koha users on the list. According to
the wiki there’s only one library (the UNIDO library) using Koha. However,
there might be others (like ours :-) ). It would be nice to get in touch.
We are a small church library (Ukrainian greek-catholic church
