I might have already asked this... however
Can KOHA convert a "Handy Library Manager" (HLM) into itself and replace it?
I'd like to move from our current Handy Library Manager to an open source
system and Koha was presented.
Please let me know if Koha can be use to move from HLM system.
Thanks
Hello all,
We are a small private school that has use Primasoft Handy Library
Manager for the last 3 years.
When we started, I wanted to use the Linux Library managers however we didn't.
So my question now is, has anyone converted from Handy Library Manager to Koha?
If so, how difficult or easy
I'm following install instruction from here
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FYDuHGQ20Eo&t=1313s
and getting stuck ... the web page opens to log in and I try to log in
and the screen goes blank...
Not sure what I missed
Any Ideas?
thanks

Our school started using Handy Library Manager 2 years ago and I'd
like to move the data over the Koha .
Has anyone done this before?
If so, is the data easy to export and import into Koha?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Koha mailing
We just built a KOHA server and would like to import our other Library
manager data.
We are currently using one called "Handy Library Manager" made by "Primasoft"
We exported the data from that system and it is just a excel file
We have about 14K books.
We don't want to remake the database in
I found this page and some of the links are dead
https://koha-community.org/support/koha-mailing-lists/forums/
Are there any post style forums for KOHA on the internet?
Looking for a non-mail forum for standard/new users
Thanks
