[Koha] limit display length of last name? (holdslip)

Our library branch places hold items (to be picked up) in a public area for patrons to grab and check out for themselves. For privacy reasons, we'd like to limit the info displayed on the hold slips/receipts. Is there a way to limit the length (e.g. first 2 letters) of the "surname" displayed on
