it's possible to hide authority record in Authority search OPAC?
I know there is an option that hides unrelated records
(OPACShowUnusedAuthorities), but I mean to hide related ones.

something similar to OpacSuppression for Authorities would be nice.

I suppose I could have tested this on the test site to see if it really did
what I wanted. I found a work around, since there were only a handful of
patrons I really needed to keep track of.

If you are going to use Zebra, you will want to set it up to use ICU
from the beginning. It will enable you to search for non-latin characters.
