What that script does is assume that the records already have a
biblionumber stored in 999$c for each of the records. Instead of just
generating a new biblionumber and using it for the record, the existing
value in 999$c will be used instead.

Do you have your system preference CalculateFinesOnReturn enabled? Also,
you'll want to make sure finesMode is set to "Calculate and charge.

when i tried to fire up the sip server with the command below
perl C4/SIP/SIPServer.pm C4/SIP/SIPconfig.xml &
or with this command
perl -I./ ./SIPServer.pm ./SIPServer.xml
i get the error message as below:

I am glad someone is taking this on. It has been growing more cumbersome and
