Suppose during data entry one staff may enter it as Ranganathan.S.R and other staff as Ranganathan, SR or Ranganthan , SR if there are 40 books of Ranganathan and all the entry has to be same as Ranganthan, SR how to do it in the authority file please give the solution -- *Dr. B. Ravivenka

Hi! I have had customers reporting problems importing patron data from Excel into Koha (via CSV). When I have opened the file in LibreOffice and saved as CSV from there it has worked fine for me. Could you give LibreOffice a try? I think it *might* be related to this bug: Bug 10117 - Byte Order
