take the opening/closing times of the library into account as the
calendar only works with full days.

We found that it was much easier to export ours to a CSV and then send that off
to a company that makes ID cards for $0.40 each. Of course that was after
numerous times and hours spent with the built in function.

Have a look inside the PDF file itself using a text editor. Sometimes if
an error occurs on generation, error messages will end up in there
rather than the PDF content.

I have had customers reporting problems importing patron data from
Excel into Koha (via CSV). When I have opened the file in LibreOffice
and saved as CSV from there it has worked fine for me. Could you give
LibreOffice a try?
